1. Age
You must be 18 or older — or the age of majority in your province or territory of residence, whichever is higher — to create an account. Age is self-certified at signup. Accounts we learn belong to minors are closed, with Sparks purchases refunded to the payment source. Every optional product on the service — including the Mystery Pack and the Grail Pack (Terms §1e–§1f) — is part of the same service and carries the same 18+ requirement; opening one reaffirms that you are 18 or older, and shipping any card home is identity-gated as described in Section 3.
2. Location
Creating an account, buying Sparks, and using the shop are open to adults internationally, except where prohibited by applicable law or in countries or territories subject to U.S. sanctions; we do not geo-block by country. Physical shipping, however, is available only to United States and Canadian addresses, as described in Terms §2a. You are responsible for ensuring that using the service is lawful where you live.
3. Account review
For everyday use — buying Sparks, opening packs, selling back, and earning Sparks by completing our offer partners' offers — we do not require government-ID identity verification; an 18+ confirmation and a valid U.S. or Canadian shipping address are all that's needed. Earning Sparks through third-party offers is available only to signed-in accounts and, like everything else here, only to adults 18 and over (Terms §3a(h)). To protect against fraud, when you redeem a card to have it shipped to you we MAY require you to complete identity verification (a government-issued ID and a selfie, processed by our verification provider Stripe), as described in Terms §7; if you prefer not to verify right now, we simply won't ship that card until you do — it stays in your vault, fully usable, and nothing is charged. You may also choose to place it in a clearance "box" that locks it in your vault until your recent payments clear their dispute window (~120 days), after which it automatically returns to your vault; boxing only DEFERS this decision — shipping or redeeming the card still requires identity verification (see Terms §7). Nothing else about your account is affected. Separately, if your account has never made a Sparks purchase, your first redemption (shipping a card or redeeming a code) may require you to make a first qualifying Sparks deposit — as little as $5, credited to your balance as Sparks you keep — after which the requirement is lifted permanently (Terms §7); buying, opening, selling back, and vaulting never require a deposit. We also reserve the right to review, pause, or close an account for fraud, abuse, or suspected underage use, and to ask for reasonable confirmation in those cases.
