Opening packs — FAQ

Do I get real Pokémon cards when I open a pack?

Yes. Every pack delivers its full disclosed count of real, market-priced Pokémon cards. Any card you pull can be shipped to you as the physical card (US and Canada) or sold back to us instantly for 85% of its live market value in Sparks.

Is opening packs on PackLab gambling?

No. PackLab is a virtual card shop, not a gambling website. Every pack always delivers its full count of real cards, the odds are published before you buy and provably fair, and there is no cash-out — Sparks are closed-loop store credit. You must be 18+ to use PackLab.

Do I need cryptocurrency or a wallet to open packs?

No. There is no crypto, no blockchain wallet, and no seed phrase. You pay with an ordinary card and your balance is held as Sparks — store credit priced at 1 Spark = 1 cent.

How do I know a pull was fair?

Before a box sells a single pack, PackLab commits to its full card order with a published hash and points to a future round of the drand public randomness beacon. When the box sells out, your own browser recomputes the result and the hashes either match or they do not.

Is PackLab affiliated with Nintendo or The Pokémon Company?

No. PackLab is an independent virtual card shop and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, or Wizards of the Coast; all product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
