There is no wallet address to fund, no seed phrase to guard, and no blockchain in the loop — you pay with a normal card and your balance is held as Sparks, plain closed-loop store credit. Nothing you buy or hold on PackLab is a cryptocurrency.

How you open a pack

After you sign in and buy Sparks, you rip a booster pack or split open the Mystery Pack. Every pack delivers its full disclosed count of real, market-priced Pokémon cards — the odds are on the product page, and each pack costs a margin over the market value of the cards inside, with most sets listing under the sealed-pack market price. Each card lands in your vault, where you decide what happens next.

Provably fair without a blockchain

You don't need crypto to check that a pull was fair. Before a box sells a single pack, PackLab commits to its full card order with a published hash and points to a future round of the drand public randomness beacon, so the shuffle is fixed by data that didn't exist when the box was sealed. When the box sells out, your own browser recomputes the result and the hashes either match or they don't. Full odds and pack prices for every set are published up front at /odds.

Sparks are store credit, not cryptocurrency

Sparks are closed-loop store credit, priced at 1 Spark = 1 cent. They are not a coin, a token, or a withdrawable balance, and there is no cash-out. Value leaves PackLab in exactly two ways: as real cards shipped to your door, or as 85% sell-back credit when you sell a card back to us. That closed loop is the point — it keeps PackLab a retail card shop and buy-back desk, not a way to move money in and out.
